Music is an important aspect of Taizé worship.

"Taizé music highlights simple phrases, usually lines from the Psalms or other pieces of scripture, repeated or sung in canon. The repetition is designed to help meditation and prayer." - BBC, UK

Monthly Meditation:

A Prayer by Brother Roger

Prayer: O Risen Christ, You breathe your Holy Spirit on us and you tell us: 'Peace be yours'. Opening ourselves to your peace - letting it penetrate the harsh and rocky ground of our hearts - means preparing ourselves to be bearers of reconciliation wherever you may place us. But you know at times we are at a loss. So come lead us to wait in silence, to let a ray of hope shine forth in our world.

Scripture for Meditation

For God alone my soul waits in silence, for my hope is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken.

Psalm 62:5–6
