Stewardship 2023

Dear Church Family,

I love the way the apostle Paul opens his letter to the church in Philippi. It’s an epistle filled with joy and thanksgiving. As Paul feels about the church in Philippi, I feel that for you and our church family at AHUMC.

“I thank my God every time I think of you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you...” Philippians 1:3-4

I give thanks for the many ways you give yourself for others in the name of Christ. Your giving makes a difference. Not only does your giving bless the many ministries of the church, but your giving also blesses your life as it connects you to the heart of God.

As we look forward to our 2024 budget, we know that we are called to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ with Everyone, in Everything we do, Everywhere we go.

Enclosed you will find two things:

▪  A brochure with an overview of our ministries entitled “Everyone Everything Everywhere” and an overview of the 2024 Proposed Operating Budget

▪  A 2024 Commitment Card

I encourage you to read through these two items prayerfully and to discuss them with your family. Every one of us is important to the work of Christ through the church. Your gifts matter to God and to Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.

I challenge everyone to step up and be counted.

Once your Commitment Card is completed, please seal it in the envelope provided and bring it with you to worship any Sunday in October. We will dedicate our gifts to God and celebrate our future together as a church family throughout the month. If you are unable to attend worship, please return your Commitment Card to the church as soon as you can, or visit ahumc.org/pledge to submit it online.

Again, I thank my God every time I think of you!

God Bless,

REV. JASON ADAMS
