3rd Grade Bibles

It's that time again! Every year, our 3rd graders receive Bibles from AHUMC Kids. It might seem like a little thing, but it means so much to the children. In fact, Pastor Jason still has the Bible that he received in 3rd grade!

DETAILS:

• Your 3rd grader is invited to receive their Bible at either the 9:30 a.m. Modern Service or the 11 a.m. Sanctuary Service on Sunday, September 27.
• Upon registration, please clarify which service your child will be receiving their Bible. 
• AHUMC Kids will have a designated section for participating 3rd graders in each of the services. Please arrive 5 minutes early to locate the section and your child's Sunday School leaders.
• Parents will be asked to stand with their child during the presentation.

LUNCH & LEARN

• Following the 11 a.m. service, 3^rd graders and their parents are invited to join us for "Lunch and Learn" from 12:15—1:30 p.m. in the Seminar Room.
• 3^rd graders will explore their new Bibles with Gina Beal while parents get to hear from Lauren Brown.

• Lauren and her husband Seth have been congregants here for several years along with their sons Samuel and Theo. Lauren is a trained and experienced Religious Educator.  In fact, she previously served as the Director of Religious Education for the United States Air Force and is currently a Religious Education Program Director for the Army.

• Lauren will help parents dialogue around understandable and inviting ways to share biblical stories with our kids and what to do with all the questions.

We hope you and your 3^rd graders will join us for this special milestone in your child’s faith journey. Childcare will be available for younger siblings. If you have additional questions, contact Gina Beal.
