David McNitzky came to AHUMC in June 1995, bringing with him a vision for growing an "Acts 2" church. In addition to preaching and teaching, David has a passion for tennis and Duke University basketball.

Rev. Donna Strieb, Associate Pastor
Rev. Donna Strieb, Director of Prayer and Spiritual Formation, joined the staff in 1980. She leads our Taizé and Healing services, is active in the Emmaus Community, the Order of St. Luke the Physician, and in addition to serving at AHUMC, is the Spiritual Formation Facilitator of rthe Perkins School of Theology Extension in San Antonio. Dr. Harold Burkhardt, Pastor to Senior Adults Harold Burkhardt was first appointed to AHUMC as associate pastor from 1951-1954. He served as pastor in Lytle, Kingsville, El Camp and Brownsville, before accepting the position of President of Methodist Mission Home in San Antonio from 1973 until he retired in 1994. In addition to Senior Adult ministries, Harold is active in the Alamo Heights UMC Foundation and is director of Planned Giving. Contact Harold.
