Scholarship Committee Sets Dates for 2010 Scholarship Applications

 

At it's recently held annual planning meeting the Scholarship  Committee of AHUMC

approved the guidelines and dates that apply to Scholarship Applications for the 2010-2011 school year.

 

All members of the church are eligible to apply for a scholarship award. You must be a member of the church by January 1, 2010. The awards are given to students interested in furthering their education or training beyond the high school level.

Unless a person is a member they need not apply.

 

The committee provides an Application  which must be returned in it's original form. Each applicant is also provided a complete a set of instructions. The instructions will also include all deadlines which must be met in order to be eligible. Late arriving and incomplete Applications will be rejected.

 

The Applications and a set of instructions will be available at the reception desk in the main lobby on Sunday January 3^rd.  Those same documents will be available online on the church website. No altered documents will be accepted. All Applications must be returned to the church office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday April 5^th. All first time applicants must be present for the personal interviews held on Saturday May 8^th, to be eligible.
