Children will move up to their new classrooms
beginning June 4.
space
Classrooms are based on the child's age or grade as of
Sept. 1, 2017.
(For example: Even if a child is not yet 2 yrs old, as long as they are 2 yrs old by Sept. 1,
they will still move up to the 2 yr olds classroom.)

KidCheck is a secure children's check-in system that enhances AHUMC's security system and simplifies the check-in process. KidCheck helps ensure no one can pick up your child without your consent.
test
Beginning July 30, Children's Ministries will require ALL children - nursery through 5th grades - to check-in through KidCheck. It is important you create your account before you arrive to church. Go to go.kidcheck.com, select "Create Your KidCheck Account" and follow the on-screen prompts. You can also download the KidCheck Mobile Check-In App - it's free! - from iTunes or Google Play to create, manage, & update your account right on your phone.

Our Curriculum:
space
space

The Gospel Project takes kids on a chronological journey - from Genesis to Revelation - to encounter Jesus.  With this curriculum, we'll show kids that each book of the Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament, is part of one overarching gospel narrative.  From cover to cover, it's all about Jesus.  This Fall we'll start with Genesis 1 and work our way through Proverbs by the end of the school year.  It will take us 3 years to get to Revelation, but we'll get there - one book at a time!

Be a part of one of our Teaching Teams!

Would you like to be a part of one of our Teaching Teams?  It's not too late! Our goal is to have teams of at least 6, so that leaders are able to teach as often as they want but also have the flexibility to teach once a month if that works better for your family. Please let me know if you have questions about being a part of a Teaching Team!

Big Picture Cards for Families

We are sending one unit home at a time.  As you receive a new set of Big Picture Cards, simply add it to your ring with the cards from previous units. Our hope is that you will find a little time to talk about the Bible story and scripture for the upcoming Sunday.  Each Big Picture Card will have the scripture, Bible story, Christ Connection, and questions for you to ask your kids to help you engage them in spiritual discussions.
